Bio-Fabrication of Cu/Ag/Zn Nanoparticles and Their Antioxidant and Dye Degradation Activities

The biological synthesis of nanoparticles with copper, silver, and zinc (Cu, Ag, Zn) is reported in this study, adopting a greener, safe, reliable, eco-friendly approach by using an aqueous leaf extract Catharanthus roseus. synthesised trimetallic were characterised different characterisation techniques. UV–visible spectroscopic technique was initially used to assess nanoparticle formation, which absorption bands observed at 220, 270, 370 nm for Cu, Zn, Ag nanocomposites, respectively. XRD revealed that the average crystalline size nanocomposites 34.67 nm. roles reducing capping/stabilising agents Cu/Ag/Zn confirmed FTIR analysis, successful biosynthesis same also X-ray energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDX) analysis. Potential applications these evaluated assessing their antioxidant catalytic dye degradation activities. activity nanomaterial studied DPPH assay. breakdown harmful dyes phenol red eosin yellow examined NaBH4 as agent. results showed nanomaterial’s radical scavenging capacity 1000 ug/mL 75.76% up 78% presence NaBH4. Furthermore, biogenic exhibited effective against methyl dyes.
